There are a few common reasons for having cellulite: hormones, unhealthy diet, and lifestyle, genetics, excess weight, no sport, pregnancy. An uneven surface or dimpling on the skin appears when fat cells gather, push up against the skin while fibrous connective cords pull down. Sounds too scientific? Yeah, for me too. In simpler words, cellulite appears when the relationship between your skin, connective tissues, and the normal fat cells breaks off.

Let me start with an upsetting fact — there's no way to utterly get rid of cellulite. HOWEVER, you can reduce its signs by doing specific exercises. But keep in mind that you have to repeat each of them a few times in a row to achieve better results.

The air squat is a basic exercise that focuses on the lower limbs while also emphasizing the front of the thighs and hamstrings. When doing it correctly, you can both build a solid strength foundation and reduce the sign of the orange peel appearance on your skin.

Lunges are also one of the classic leg movements that focus on the glutes and hamstrings. When performed correctly, this exercise builds up strength, tones your body, and helps to make your skin on the legs look firmer.

The hip thrust is also a good exercise in your battle with cellulite. It makes your hip,  quadriceps, and buttocks stronger while also stabilizing your back and knees. If an ordinary hip thrust is too easy, switch your weight to one leg.

Good morning exercise focuses on the back of your tights. It’s better to add additional weight to this movement, such as dumbbells or even a bottle of water. Why not? I can tell you more — it can even be your child, aha.

And the last interesting movement is the deadlift on one leg. This exercise is sooo good — it targets the whole back chain while also working your glutes and hamstrings. Pick up some weight on the ground for better results.
