Currently, many countries are at war, as is the case in Ukraine. As a society, we never think we can be inside a war zone until it happens. It is for this reason that most civilians are not prepared to survive a crisis like this one.
If you find yourself in a dangerous area, and you have no previous training, you must follow our advice.
Survival in a war zone is based on four key factors: getting water, food, shelter, and protection. If you and your family manage to overcome these challenges, chances are you can survive longer.
Water and food
Cities are not self-sufficient. This implies that in many cases the supply of water and food comes from rural areas. Your priority will be to get supplies and move to one of these areas.
An average human can go up to 21 days without food, but cannot stop consuming water. Three days without drinking fluids is enough for the body to stop working as it should.
Shelter
If you managed to move to a rural area, you must learn how to create a shelter. The priority is to ensure that neither water nor any wild animals enter the shelter. You can also take refuge in small rural towns since they are not usually attacked.
But if you can't get out of the city, there is another option. You can take refuge in the city sewer system or even in the subway system. These are usually very safe shelters that can even protect you from air raids.

Protection
In a war zone, there is always the possibility of being attacked. It is for this reason that you should try to learn some self-defense techniques or even get a gun. This is essential to prevent you or your family from being hurt.
You can also be with a small group of people to support and defend each other. In this way, you will be able to gather everything you need to survive in less time.
