With the war going on in Ukraine and several soldiers being injured or martyred, the country requires volunteers who can serve in the war. The need can increase in the coming days and weeks as Russian troops refuse to back down.
People in Ukraine and those who wish to volunteer in the war should keep themselves fit in case they are needed in times of crisis. Potential volunteers should not only go to the gym regularly to reach their fitness goals but should also ad0pt certain habits that can contribute positively to their fitness.

First and foremost everyone should be motivated to stay fit and keep their body strong. Without the proper drive and motivation, it becomes hard to work out. For Ukrainians and other people around the world, just seeing the war pan out is motivation enough. However, the war brings about a feeling of depression and loss of hope. This can demotivate people and no one should lose hope no matter how hard it is.
It’s important to stay consistent when working out or training. If one workout seems tedious, switch to another form or style. However, make sure you always listen to your body. If it tells you to rest, get rest so you don’t overexert yourself.
Another important habit to adopt is to bring small changes into your life that automatically keep your body fit. Eat healthy and walk more. If gyms are closed in your city due to the war, try doing exercises at home. Don’t procrastinate and remember your country could need you at any time.
