With the war in Ukraine still going on and Russia refusing to back off, help and volunteers are still needed to fight for Ukraine. As a Ukrainian citizen in the country, the government can call upon locals at any time to fight in the war and also have encouraged foreign citizens to fight in the war against Russia. Therefore, people who wish to join the war in the future must remain fit and train well.

Below are some exercises you can do in order to train and prepare yourself for the army if need arises.

Deadlifts

Stand with expanding your feet and toes pointing outwards. Bend over and grab a bag or weight then lift it. Keep your head in a neutral position.

Power Jumps

Squat and touch the ground with your palms then jump up with your hands over your head and then come back down to the squat position.

Jumping Jacks

Jump while opening your legs and putting your arms above your head at the same time. Do this exercise for 30 seconds. Jumping Jacks help to develop your muscles and strengthen your lungs.

Hand Release Push-Ups

It is a push-up where you also release your hands in horizontal directions after each push-up. Make sure to keep your back straight. Repeat this 3 to 10 times and build stamina.

Crunches

Crunches that focus on the abdomen are an efficient way to tone down the muscles. To start your crunches, lie down on the floor, bend your knees, contract your abs and inhale. Then stretch your legs out while exhaling to return to the original position.
