Yoga rightfully has oodles of benefits for an overall health condition. A practitioner who is trying various poses for the first time may reckon it’s so complicated to perform them correctly. While some poses are truly difficult to accomplish, some are just looking ridiculously funny… and sometimes super easy to do. In this article, I’ve gathered the poses that might induce smiles on your faces and desire to try them on yourself.

Karnapidasana or simpler Knee-to-Ear Pose

Well, this pose looks like you’re trying to hide your head in your legs and make it disappear. It may look really creepy yet such a move perfectly stretches the spine, and once you mastered it, it’s even relaxing.

Astavakrasana or simpler Eight Angle Pose

This pose shows a unique way to keep balance on your hands while looking like some evil push-up your personal trainer created for you for eating that hamburger last night. Oh my gosh, when finally performing it, you’ll have no desire to have cheat meals. NEVER.

Ananda Balasana or Baby Pose

In contrast to the previous movement, this pose is quite simple to perform. The babies don’t put a lot of effort at all… Ok, only when crying. But this pose reminds a happy baby, not the crying one, so it promises to be easy. And yeah, it looks funny when imagining how a massive guy lies on his yoga mat and tries to perform Baby Pose.

Viparita Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana… WHAT? Keep it simple — Super Soldier Pose

Oh. My. God. If you have just taken up yoga, this pose will be an Everest in the world of mountains. It’s not only about flexibility and balancing skills, it’s more about figuring out how the heck should you do it. Not the easiest one… but looks funny and yeah, creepy!

Utkata Konasana or Ok, I Give Up

While being a highly beneficial exercise to stretch your hips muscles, this pose reminds a moment when you are trying to run away with that yummy candy in your hand, and then your older sister/brother threatens to tell everything to your parents. Ok, I give up, take this candy and go away, betrayer!
