Do you like spending hours in a gym 2 – 3 times a week or maybe you prefer to have short but sweat training every day? If you vote for the second option, this man can become your guru in the fitness sphere. Joe Wicks, you may have heard of him as The Body Coach, is a famous British personal trainer who gained popularity thanks to short 15-second videos he was posting on social media.

His best-known cookbook (yes, he is an author as well!) is called “Lean in 15” where he included 15-minute healthy meals that will make your mouth watering along with 15-minute intense workouts that will sweat your way towards your ideal shape. But why exactly 15 minutes? It’s his favorite number haha. At least, we guess so as all his Instagram videos are about 15 seconds, a lot of HIIT workouts are for 15 minutes, AND you have to prepare dishes also only for 15 minutes. Looks like a lucky number, doesn’t it?

But everything started far not from worldwide popularity and thousands of fans around. Joe began his career as a teaching assistant after completing his sports science degree. Then he worked as a personal trainer for 5 years but always understood that it’s not his way — the salary was too low and he barely could make his ends meet. He decided to work for himself rather than “getting paid peanuts”.

The Body Coach started posting short videos on Instagram (I have written about it at the beginning). Once he gained popularity, the 35-year-old man came up with a 90-day exercise and nutrition plan called the 90 Day SSS and now has sold over 110,000 plans.

In March 2020, he started posting PE videos for kids on his YouTube channel to inspire the younger generation to stay active even during the isolation. It has brought him even more views and followers.

But what about his personal life? Having his parents living separately, he has never believed in marriage itself. The Body Coach thought that all these banal stories of happy families are nothing else than the scenario of one more movie for teenagers. But then he met Rosie Jones and fell head over heels in love with her since June 2019 when they got married. Now Joe lives his best fairytale life bringing up two children.
